"My wife and I dropped in to see the alpacas at Sacred Acres on the off chance it was open. We were greeted warmly by the owner, MaryJane. MaryJane gave us information about her 19 alpacas and explained the care and upkeep required (including their proclivity to roll around in the dirt after they were sprayed with water to keep cool). We were able to safely pet the soft alpacas under MaryJane’s supervision and guidance. We then went into the store and my wife enjoyed herself there immensely. We are coming back next week for the full 2 hour tour, including walking the alpacas on the trail. This is a must-visit in Palmyra. Even though we are all seniors, the kids will love it as well!"
